Teresa Cline recognized as Certified Short-Sale Professional and Awarded CSP Designation
 Newport News, Va., 1 Aug., 2008 – Teresa Cline, agent with Liz Moore and Associates, was recently awarded the Certified Short-Sale Professional (CSP) designation. Cline joins a select and growing group of real estate agents who have recognized the importance of providing this value-added service to their clients. In today’s increasingly competitive real estate market, these trained agents set themselves apart by helping homeowners navigate through the process of short selling their home before it goes into foreclosure.
Cline earned the CSP designation by completing the prescribed online coursework and completing an end-of-course competency-based test. The Certified Short-Sale Professional course is designed to provide agents with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively guide their client through the short-sale process. Unlike normal real estate transactions, a short-sale requires particular care and additional work to be completed smoothly and, if done improperly, may cause the homeowner to go into foreclosure.

 Newport News, Va., 18 June, 2008 - Liz Moore and Associates presented Beth Duke, Vice President, Community Relations, with a check for $21,051.33 to be used to further advance the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, Peninsula Center.
The money was raised through various fundraising events sponsored by Liz Moore and Associates such as company dress down days, ping pong tournament, casino night and auction, as well as employee contributions.
Liz Moore and Associates raised over $12,000 for CHKD in 2005, $21,000 in 2006 and will strive to raise even more in 2008.
